Our journey begins in Venice. As the city bears the toll of time, tides, and mass tourism, one man’s quest to restore a decaying 14th‑century canal‑side palazzo becomes a reflection on memory, heritage, resilience—and the fate of one of the world’s most extraordinary, endangered cities.
His mission raises the larger question: can Venice reclaim its past to secure its future? Shot in lush 4K with intimate access to artisans and neighbours, the pilot is a true story of grit and vision—and a clear proof‑of‑concept for a series where local revival carries global resonance.
THE Series
THE FORGOTTEN is a multi-season global docuseries following a visionary protagonist and the artisans rallying to save a threatened landmark. These are acts of revival that reconnect past and future, not makeovers.
With cinematic craft and intimate access, every episode runs on a clear, repeatable spine Discovery → Plan → Conflict → Craft Intervention → Reveal under real pressure (time, budgets, politics, nature). The format is returnable and co-production-friendly, built for localization and scale.
Season spec: 6×50’ (alt: 4×50’) · location-based arcs · one city per episode · craft-led transformation with social/cultural stakes.
Episode 0: Venice — Completed. Proof-of-concept with artisans and neighbours at the core.
Future seasons extend beyond Venice to new cities and endangered sites using the same engine.
